CCH Honors the Legacy of Supporters Lenny & Becky Kamp at National Philanthropy Day

AFP Hawaii and CCH honored Leonard “Lenny and Rebecca “Becky” Kamp at last week’s National Philanthropy Day Luncheon with the Outstanding Philanthropist In Memoriam Award. Becky’s sister Debbe Lee and her husband Allen Lee and their long-time friend Jay Voss joined CCH in the ceremony.

Throughout their lives, Lenny & Becky Kamp gave to causes that inspired them. During their retirement, they began to quietly leave their legacy in the community. Catholic Charities Hawai‘i has been a long-time friend and beneficiary of Lenny & Becky.  They had not only given of their generous treasure, but also their time and talent as volunteers.

Catholic Charities Hawai‘i, Aloha United Way, Palama Settlement, UH College of Engineering, UH Shidler College of Business and Hawaii Community Foundation were a few of the organizations they felt passionate about supporting. Becky passed away in 2013 and Lenny in 2017. They are missed, but their legacy lives on through their generous planned gifts.
