Catholic Charities Hawai‘i Welcomes Bishop-elect Michael Thomas Tupou Castori, S.J.

Catholic Charities Hawai‘i was honored to attend a special Mass of Thanksgiving welcoming Bishop-elect Michael Thomas Tupou Castori, S.J. on May 7 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa in Honolulu.

The evening celebration brought together clergy, community leaders, and faithful from across Hawai‘i to give thanks for Bishop-elect Castori’s appointment and to warmly welcome him to the Diocese of Honolulu.

Representing Catholic Charities Hawai‘i were President and CEO Tina Andrade, along with Be-Jay Kodama, Stella Wong, and Cissy Shaner who joined the community in prayer and celebration during this meaningful occasion.

As an organization rooted in faith and service, Catholic Charities Hawai‘i looks forward to Bishop-elect Castori’s leadership and the opportunity to continue working together in support of individuals and families throughout our islands.

We extend our prayers and congratulations to Bishop-elect Michael Thomas Tupou Castori, S.J. as he begins this new chapter of ministry and service in Hawai‘i.
