The Catholic Charities Hawai‘i Staff participated at their annual staff conference on May 3, 2019, in a beautiful setting at the Koolau Ballrooms in Kaneohe. The event keynote speaker, Ramsay Taum, is recognized locally, nationally and internationally for training and mentoring in transformational leadership in sustainability, culture and place-based values integration in contemporary business models, team building and strategic partnerships.
The theme “Ola mai ‘iloko mai – health comes from within” is in keeping with CCH’s initiative to promote a culture of well-being. Our well-being is connected to our relationship with people and place. He encouraged the staff to be intentional about making connections with people. The day also included recognition of staff achieving milestone anniversaries and an afternoon of fun workshops including: Blue Zones, Hiking, Financial Health, Crossfit, Hula, Journaling and Karaoke to name a few.
