Create a Legacy through Catholic Charities Hawai‘i’s Circle of Hope Society
Betty Lou Larson worked at Catholic Charities Hawai‘i (CCH) for nearly 30 years. “I believe in Catholic Charities Hawai‘i and its work and know as the future unfolds they will be there to identify and work on solutions for the most vulnerable in our society.” Social justice and creating a Hawai‘i where everyone has a safe place to live are important to her. Betty Lou continues to advocate on behalf of CCH on many important social issues.
Betty Lou understands that we rely on contributions to continue providing our many programs and services to help the most vulnerable in our community. She has provided for CCH in her revocable living trust. “Personally, I want to target my estate to one organization that I can trust to serve many diverse needs with compassion and dignity. I’m proud to continue a legacy of hope even after I am gone.” By making a gift in her trust, she becomes a member of our new Circle of Hope Society.
The Catholic Charities Hawai‘i Circle of Hope Society recognizes friends who support the mission of Catholic Charities Hawai‘i in their estate plans. An honorary designation is conferred upon all known donors who take advantage of the following types of planned gifts:
- Will or living trust
- Life insurance policy
- Real estate
- Charitable remainder trusts
- Beneficiary designations of IRAs and retirement plans
No dues or obligations are required for membership. No minimum gift amount is required. As a Circle of Hope Society member, you are acknowledged (with permission) in CCH publications and invited to attend special events for major donors.
When you join the Circle of Hope Society, your example of stewardship also inspires others to make a legacy gift. Individually, we can make a difference, but together our impact is multiplied, not just now, but into the future.
