Housing Placement Program

Helping families with children find and keep safe, stable homes.

The Housing Placement Program supports households with minors who are either experiencing homelessness or are at imminent risk of losing their housing. We provide both short-term financial help and hands-on case management to move families into permanent, sustainable housing.

What We Offer:

  • Financial assistance — rental security deposits, first month’s rent, rent arrears, utility assistance (electric, water, gas), and application fees.
  • Housing search services — active help locating safe, affordable rental options and connecting you with landlords.
  • Ongoing case management — landlord/tenant support, referrals to housing-related legal representation (LASH), financial literacy coaching, and one-on-one budgeting.

Who is Eligible:

To qualify for the program, households must meet all of the following:

  • Be a household with at least one minor child (age 17 or younger) living with their custodial parent.
  • Have a combined household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
  • Be homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
  • Demonstrate the ability and commitment to work toward self-sufficiency and make future housing payments.
