Mahalo to Hui ʻo Na Wahine (Schofield Spouses Club) for their generous $1,000 donation to Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi’s Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, presented during their annual awards ceremony earlier this month.
Hui ʻo Na Wahine is a nonprofit, all-ranks spouses club serving the Schofield Barracks and Wheeler Airfield community. Their mission to strengthen community spirit, provide support systems, develop leadership, and improve quality of life reflects the same values that guide our work every day at Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi.
Through the SSVF program, Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi helps veterans and their families facing housing instability or homelessness by providing housing assistance, case management, and supportive services to help them regain stability and hope. In 2025 alone, Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi has already supported more than 300 veterans and their families across our islands. Partnerships like this make that work possible.
