Mahalo to the Moanalua Gardens Missionary Church members and the Kupunacize class for their generous donation of over 100 bags of paper goods and hygiene items to support seniors in our community. Your kindness helps ensure kūpuna across Hawaiʻi feel cared for, supported, and remembered.
This season, many partners came together to help make Christmas brighter. Special thanks to St. Theresa, Resurrection of the Lord Church, Newman Center – Holy Spirit, Our Lady of Sorrows, Chaminade University, and the Attorney General’s office for coordinating with our programs and supporting our holiday wishlists.
We are also grateful to generous donors who reached out to support our programs:
- One donor personally sponsored Christmas gifts for our Unaccompanied Children Program.
- Another donor helped spread cheer through our Senior Giving Tree.
- A teacher donor helped provide gifts to support our Home Visiting Services (HVS) program.
- American Savings Bank gifted joyful holiday experiences with “’Twas the Lights Before Christmas on Ice” tickets.
- And our friends from Montessori Community School Kindergarten continued their annual Holiday Gift Drop-Off — and brightened our day with songs including “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “Mele Kalikimaka.”
Because of generosity like this, Catholic Charities Hawai‘i supported over 70,000 families, keiki, and kūpuna statewide in 2024, helping our community stay healthy, connected, and supported.
Mahalo nui for helping us care for Hawaiʻi’s families and seniors — today and always.
