Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities

As Hawai‘i’s aging population grows, it’s important that seniors be able to maintain their independence in the community and avoid premature institutionalization. Catholic Charities Hawai‘i provides a wide range of senior services that are designed to provide in-home and community based services such as transportation assistance, friendly home visiting and escort services, counseling on affordable housing options, case management for elders and caregivers, exercise and wellness activities, medication management education, travel training, and volunteer opportunities.

In addition, Catholic Charities Hawai‘i also provides employment services to assist Medicaid eligible individuals with developmental disabilities to enter the competitive workplace and increase their self sufficiency.
