Catholic Charities Hawai‘i extends a heartfelt mahalo to everyone who participated in Going Green Day on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center.

This eco-friendly recycling and donation drive was a true community effort, bringing together kūpuna, volunteers, and local organizations to promote sustainability and support those in need.

“We are grateful to see our community come together in such a meaningful way,” said Catholic Charities Hawai‘i President and CEO Tina Andrade. “Going Green Day is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we work together for both the environment and our neighbors.”
Mahalo nui loa to our incredible partners who helped make this event possible:
Aloha Diaper Bank, Going Green Recyclers, Hawai‘i Foodbank, Hawaiian Memorial Life Plan, Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center members, Lions International, Menehune Water Company, Oahu SPC, and United Cerebral Palsy Association of Hawai‘i.
