At Catholic Charities Hawai‘i, advocacy for social justice is part of our mission and core values. We believe that social justice calls us to be a community of hope that works to achieve the common good, promotes individual rights and responsibilities, and advocates on behalf of those with the greatest need.

Our Social Policy staff work to promote the dignity of all human life and the common good. In partnership with other community organizations, they promote policy at the County, State, and Federal levels to ensure access to basic needs for all people and opportunities that allow each person to reach his/her full potential.
