Catholic Charities Hawai‘i General Immigration Services department empowers immigrants to play a significant role in their own self-determination. Both on Oahu and the Big Island, our team advocates for immigrant rights and assists in reuniting immigrant families. CCH utilizes licensed immigration attorneys and Department of Justice-Accredited Representatives staff who are authorized to provide professional services and represent clients before USCIS.
IMMIGRATION LEGAL SERVICES
Catholic Charities Hawai‘i attorneys and accredited representatives provide legal assistance through consultations, preparation of forms, representation, legal advocacy, and case management. Our services include:
- Naturalization and Citizenship
- Family-Based Petitions
- Green Cards
- Removal of Conditions to Residence
- Immigration document renewals and replacements
- Employment Authorization,
- Advance Parole
- Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) Renewals
UNACCOMPANIED CHILDREN PROGRAM (UCP)
UCP provides free, high-quality legal support to unaccompanied immigrant children in Hawaiʻi. Services include:
- Removal defense
- Representation in immigration court
- Representation in family court for Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
(SIJS) orders - Asylum applications
- One-on-one case management
- Language support
- Accessing community

IMMIGRANT RESOURCE CENTER
Catholic Charities Hawai‘i operates the Immigrant Resource Center (IRC) on Oahu. The IRC is a program that collaborates with partners to provide direct legal services, representation, education, and supplemental services. This program consists of the Immigration Legal Services on the left, and:
- Citizenship Clinics
- Know-Your-Rights Workshops
- Partner Collaboration and Coordination
- Wraparound Case Management
The IRC services those in the City and County of Honolulu with valid immigration status, at or below 150%of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
Catholic Charities Hawai‘i is recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the staff have Partial Accreditation which authorizes them to provide professional services and represent clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
The Immigrant Resource Center is funded by the state of Hawai’i through the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Office of Community Services
