Rental Assistance

The Oahu Rent Relief portal is temporarily closed.

The City & County of Honolulu’s Rental and Utility Relief Program (RURP) will accept new applications through in-person events to be held in every City Council district.

Organized by Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi (CCH) and the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA), the first event will be Monday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Nānākuli Public Library (89-070 Farrington Hwy., Waiʻanae, HI 96792). This event is by appointment only and renters should call (808) 940-5209 or (808) 940-6993 to RSVP for the event. Future community application events will be listed on revitalizeoahu.org/renthelp.

Do you need rent assistance? Catholic Charities Hawaii has been helping provide rent and utility assistance to Hawai‘i renters who have experienced a reduction in income due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and are at risk of eviction.
