Program Overview
The Catholic Charities Hawai‘i Appointment Reminders program is operated by Catholic Charities Hawaii, publicly known as Catholic Charities Hawai‘i (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
These terms apply to our optional SMS program for reminders about appointments booked through our website at www.CatholicCharitiesHawaii.org.
Messages You May Receive
If you enroll, we may send automated text messages reminding you of your scheduled appointments. Reminders may include your appointment date, time, and instructions for contacting us for assistance or rescheduling.
You may also receive messages confirming your enrollment, responding to a request for help, or confirming that you have unsubscribed.
This program does not send fundraising or promotional text messages.
Consent to Receive Messages
You enroll by providing your mobile number and selecting the separate, optional SMS consent checkbox on our website’s appointment-booking form. The checkbox is unchecked by default.
By selecting that checkbox and submitting the form, you consent to receive SMS appointment reminders from Catholic Charities Hawai‘i at the number you provided under these terms.
Providing a telephone number or booking an appointment does not, by itself, enroll you in this program.
SMS consent is voluntary and is not required to book an appointment, make a donation, or receive services.
Please provide a mobile number that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use. If your number changes or you stop using it, please notify us at info@catholiccharitieshawaii.org.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your booked appointments and your interactions with the SMS program.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages sent or received according to your mobile plan. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan or charges.
How to Unsubscribe
Reply STOP to any SMS reminder to unsubscribe at any time.
You may receive a final text message confirming your unsubscribe request. After you unsubscribe, we will stop sending SMS appointment reminders unless you opt in again.
You may also request help with unsubscribing by emailing info@catholiccharitieshawaii.org.
Unsubscribing from SMS reminders does not cancel your appointment or affect your eligibility for services. To cancel or reschedule an appointment, contact the team handling your booking.

For appointment-specific questions, use the contact information provided when you booked your appointment.
Message Delivery
SMS delivery depends on your mobile carrier, network availability, and device compatibility. Delivery is not guaranteed.
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Please keep the appointment details provided when you book, even if you do not receive a text reminder.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms and will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Changes to these terms do not expand your SMS consent to include fundraising or promotional messages.
